Fear throttles innovation

Enterprise security often is perceived as locking people our and putting data behind heavy gates, slowing teams and innovation. Oleria wanted to show that protection can accelerate progress, not block it.

Security = Freedom

Northbound reframed the category with one disarming prompt: “Why do cars have brakes? To go faster. So why do companies have security? To be free.” The freedom narrative instantly distinguished Oleria in a fear-led market.

Building a brand that moves

We named the company Oleria—a genus of clear-wing butterflies whose transparent flight mirrors the product’s promise. A butterfly-inspired mark and iridescent gradient stretch across site, motion, and messaging, turning every touchpoint into an invitation to “move without edges.”

Taking flight

Debuting in March 2023, the brand accelerated decision-making, energized sales conversations, and attracted talent, while earning global creative awards and investor praise for a category-defying story.
