Business skills don't just pay the bills

Nonprofit organizations make the impossible their mission, with a brand purpose that reflects true altruism. They protect, feed, heal, shelter, educate, and nurture our bodies and spirits. They turn beliefs into action – as promoters of democracy, weavers of community fabric and champions of the common good.

And through their own dedication and sacrifice to set out to achieve the impossible, they remind us about the inherent goodness of humanity and inspire us all to be better for each other.

In the past year, we’ve been inspired by the work of many nonprofit organizations in our community who strive to meet the needs of those they serve every day, including:

  • Treehouse, who reached more foster kids across the state of Washington, helping them gain access to the information and resources they need to be successful in life
  • Seattle Rep, who welcomed new faces to enjoy theater in a space that promotes inclusivity and belonging
  • Stewardship Partners, who connected community members to further local sustainable efforts in the Puget Sound region
  • Junior Achievement, who empowered kids, regardless of socio-economic background, to choose their own destiny

These non-profits help our community grow and thrive – socially and economically. Having both strong community relationships and local knowledge not only means they understand needs and how to meet them but that they can serve as the voice of the people.

Nonprofits act on the social issues we all care about, and step in when others won’t or don’t know where to begin. They stand up and speak out for issues that would otherwise go unnoticed to help level the playing field. They dare us all to chase our dreams. And in the most difficult times, they give our community strength and hope for a better tomorrow. Nonprofits will continue to play a vital role in helping communities achieve social and economic growth that is inclusive of everyone.

We feel it’s important to support nonprofit organizations in our local community and we hope that you, personally or as a business, can find ways to get involved with those that align with the issues you believe in.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
